SHORT BIO
Originally from Athens, Greece, Alexandros is a London-based writer and director. He studied filmmaking at Met Film School in Ealing Studios. His debut feature film, CAFÉ 404, starring Dimitri Gripari (Dangerous Liaisons) and Vasilis Koukalani (Tehran, Kabul), premiered in competition at the 65th Thessaloniki International Film Festival. The film went on to screen at international festivals across Los Angeles, New York, and Toronto. CAFÉ 404 is being distributed by 7 Palms Entertainment and has secured an Amazon Prime release in 25 countries.

He is currently developing his second feature film, The Passed Pawn, based on his BAFTA/BIFA-qualifying short THE T3ST, funded by the Greek Film Centre (GFC), ERT, and the NFTS, and starring Matthew Stagg (Marrowbone, Macbeth) and Killian Coyle (Normal People, Call the Midwife).

Alongside his feature work, Alexandros is developing two television series: Ben and The End, a dark comedy about Charon, the mythical Greek ferryman, trying to keep suicidal Ben alive—executive produced by David Barron (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows)—and Antiparos, a stylish whodunit murder mystery produced by Tanweer (So Long Marianne), officially selected for Series Mania 2025.

He made his television comedy debut with LUV’S STORY, starring Niki Vakali (Worlds Apart), and directed The Cellist, a commercial for McDonald’s, which was shortlisted at the Porsche Awards 2022. Alexandros has been mentored by Fred Fuchs (The Godfather Part III, Dracula) and is the recipient of the 1st National Prize of the Nespresso Talents Competition at the Cannes Film Festival.
